BMW Water Bar
The interactive BMW Waterbar turns a water bar into an impressive digital customer experience: Bathing in an digital interactive waterfall while getting a fresh cup of water.
Walking in front of the waterfall exhibit you see yourself as a mirrored silhouette which is placed inside the digital waterfall on the screen. The water runs down your tracked silhouette body following every move you make, using a real time rendered particle system, not a film.
Stepping forward to the screen the waterfall opens up and you can see „the future behind the waterfall“ in a movie. A welcome message is followed by an invitation to place your BMW cup, which is made of recycled material, into the illuminated filling space and get a drink of refreshing water.
While your cup is filled up with digital and real water simultaneously, you can watch a short movie on BMW in a circle surrounded by the waterfall animation.
BMW Digital Avatar
BMW presented the "Digital Avatar" on a LED wall, a new presentation format in which the movements of a presenter are tracked in real time and transmitted live to a 3D simulation.
This is the idea and concept of yellow design; the concept was realized for Paris by Meiré and Meiré / Recorder and realized by Arri.

BMW Personal CoPilot
In the exhibits visitors can experience the effect and technology of the BMW driver assistance systems and semiautonomous driving via VR simulation.
The high level of immersion in the exhibit is generated by the combination of virtual and real environments: The Driver‘s seat, steering wheel and pedals correspond to the cockpit of the virtual vehicle.
Since the visitor‘s hands are tracked and visible in the virtual world, he can grip the VR steering wheel as in reality and steer the vehicle himself.
In particular assistance systems, in which the vehicle carries out steering movements independently, are mediated in an impressive manner: In these situations, the visitor feels how the real steering wheel acts autonomously under his hands.
The experience is completed by a personalized „Digital Give Away“ in the form of an automatically recorded film clip, which can be sent to the user by email immediately after the journey.
INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCES FOR BMW AND MINI
A total of 22 interactive, digital applications and experiences that provide a unique brand experience, developed by yellow design for the Digital Experience Interfaces area.
In addition to infotainment applications on the topics of BMW i, BMW iPerformance and BMW M Performance for a number of large-scale monitor steles, as well as an update and expansion of the presenter exhibits already used in Paris 2016, yellow design for the brand MINI u. on. developed an interactive 360 ° application.

As the lead agency for the BMW, BMW M and BMW 1 brands, yellow has BEEN CONCEPTUALISING, DESIGNING, and IMPLEMENTING THEIR EXHIBITS.
Four highlight exhibits on the subjects BMW eDrive/PHEV, BMW Carbon Core, BMW Interior Interface and BMW Laserlight communicate the exceptional innovations of the new BMW 7 series.
Innovativ interactive exhibits to introduce the new BMW 7 Series at the IAA 2015
The combination of physical, tangible objects and intuitively usable digital interfaces communicate the innovative core messages of the new vehicle generation in a multisensory, engaging and attractive way.
BMW eDrive / PHEV Exhibit
The very transparent vertical staging of the BMW 7 Series drive train enables the visitor to explore the exhibit from all sides.
Seamless LED glass panels explain the drive mode of the vehicle by graphic animations, which are also displayed on the interactive touchscreen. An interactive touchinterface provides a drive mode switch and deepening information-layers.
BMW Carbon Core Exhibit
Sculptural presentation of the carefully worked up vehicle body with the inner structure made of Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP). The interactive exhibit of the new BMW Carbon Core concept offers the visitor the possibility to “scan” the vehicle body in order to explore its inner innovative construction concept.
Animated LED floor panels underneath the vehicle body graphically highlight the “Scanning” process.
BMW Laserlight Exhibit
The BMW Laserlight showcase highlights the innovative headlight technology, making the beam projection visible by application of artificial fog.
By activating seven different beam-modes on the touch interface the visitor is able to experience the effect in real time with the original BMW headlight.
BMW Interior Interface Exhibit
For the presentation of the new BMW operating concepts a novelly presenter-concept was developed: Based on an animated virtual 3D car model a trained expert demonstrates the new interface features on the ultralarge interactive UHD touchwall.
One highlight is the sensory column which translates the gestures of the presenter into a virtual hand that is displayed on the screen in real time.
AFTER BEING USED AT RENOWNED TRADE FAIRS LIKE IAA, PARIS, GENEVA OR SHANGHAI, THE EXHIBITS WILL ALSO BE MADE USE OF AT THE BMW WELT (WORLD OF BMW) IN MUNICH.

THE BMW CONNECTIVITY EXHIBIT MAKES THE DIVERSITY OF DIGITAL NETWORKING IN ITS ENTIRETY INTO AN INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE.
In order to convey and communicate about BMW's innovations, exhibits were made for the connectivity accessories of the M4 engine and for the intelligent lightweight construction of the M4 coupé.
The BMW Connectivity exhibit makes the diversity of digital networking in its entirety into an interactive experience. Screens of varying formats are arranged to form an heterogeneous display with a video sequence running across the totality of screen surface. The interconnection between different connectivity services and products is established visually and in terms of content by the film that plays across the consolidated screen surface.
The exhibit has a motion sensor that reacts when an observer approaches by the projection changing on each screen individually. This invites the visitor to participatively interact and learn more about the connectivity series by operating the touch screens.
EXPERIENCING LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION INTERACTIVELY - AT THE AUTOMOBILE SALON, GENEVA 2014.
The transparent acrylic car body integrates all lightweight construction components. The sensors react interactively to visitors by progressively illuminating each of the numerous innovations singly, while simultaneously displaying additional information on two screens.
