E-Mobility Meets Architecture for BULL
In collaboration with the Bull Group, yellow design has developed a concept for a modern yet timeless private charging station/wallbox that, unlike many competitors, does not follow traditional automotive design cues.
Based on the brand DNA of Bull, a brand that always operates in an architectural context, yellow design established the harmonious integration of the design into building architecture as the core of the concept.
Thus, the wallbox is not just seen as a functional vehicle-related charger but also as an aesthetic element that reflects its surroundings through form and material choice, seamlessly blending into modern architecture. This is achieved through its monolithic, straightforward, and minimalist design, as well as the use of architectural materials such as wood, stone, metal, or glass. The interchangeability of the large-scale panels, available in various materials and colors, ensures adaptability to the specific architectural environment.
This concept was awarded the Winner title at this year's Red Dot Design Award 2024—a recognition that makes us proud and affirms our vision.
